Introduction to Web Design for Community Artists.

Knowledge of web design has both personal and career benefits.  This course will enable you to express yourself online by creating websites using current industry methods and techniques.  Students will learn the basics of software and technologies used in web design: Adobe DreamWeaver, Photoshop, HTML, and CSS and will gain an understanding of the overall web development platform. During the course students will build their own website with a focus on art and culture.  A short introduction to social networking to market the website will also be provided. 

This course will be taught by Tolik Farber and will be provided to the community free of charge every Friday from July 8th to July 29th at 6:30 pm.  To enroll, please e-mail Tolik at mr.farber@gmail.com.  Tolik has over 15 years experience in Web Design and Development, and is the founder of ModernConcepts.ca and BusIndustry.com.  Tolik is an experienced trainer and has delivered training, and other presentations to corporate as well as amateur student groups.
